RESIDENTIAL RE-ENTRY PROGRAM
Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc. (RVCP) operates a residential re-entry program serving adult male and female residents transitioning from prison back into the community, residents who are serving Alternatives to Revocation (ATR) or other probation / parole violations. The program is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a 100-bed Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF).
The residents are faced with numerous challenges with their transition back into the community to include obtaining meaningful employment, educational advancements, stable housing, medical/treatment services, positive peer/family associations, and several other challenges. To aid with their transition, each resident is assigned a Case Manager to assist them with setting and obtaining their personal goals for their successful re-entry into the community. The Case Manager is assisted in this task by probation officers from the United States Probation Office and probation officers from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, who routinely provide suggestions, assistance and support for their clients in their goal to achieve successful re-entry into the community.
RVCP works in concert with a multitude of other community-based agencies all with the same goal of providing comprehensive services for the residents.
RVCP also provides in-house groups for the residents which include Employment Group, Thinking 4 Change, Moral Recognition and Wellness Recovery Action Plan. Residents who require Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) services are referred to RVCP's Compass Behavioral Health Clinic for appropriate assessment and applicable treatment.
